About

This statue is intended to be more than a likeness. It will be a constant and unignorable witness. Standing in the shadow of Big Ben, it will serve as a daily reminder to every politician entering the House of Commons that their power is borrowed from future generations and that every vote cast must account for the natural world.

To achieve this, we need a collective effort. This is not a government initiative. It is a people’s tribute to a man who has given us so much. Your donations will help us commission a world-class work of art, a finely detailed bronze that captures his empathy and wisdom. Join us in cementing his legacy at the seat of power and ensuring his message of stewardship resonates forever.

Here at the Sir David Attenborough Statue Statue, we believe in the power of art to inspire change and create a lasting impact. We envision a world where the presence of David Attenborough's statue serves as a reminder of the importance of environmental stewardship and the beauty of our natural world.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Our mission is to create and install a public statue that honours the life and work of national treasure Sir David Attenborough. It is our intention to have this statue stand in Parliament square alongside monuments to Winston Churchill, David Lloyd George, Robert Peel, Benjamin Disraeli, Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi and Millicent Fawcett.

Our Vision

This statue places the planet at the heart of power. Sir David Attenborough is not merely a broadcaster, but the conscience of our age who awakened the world to nature’s fragility. His presence here stands as an enduring reminder to leaders that every political decision must safeguard the living world for future generations. It is our vision to see this statue erected in 2027 and within the 100th year of Sir David Attenborough's birth.
